Entire Castle

(8 bedrooms, maximum 16 people)

£2000.00 per night
These rates include Full Highand Breakfast and Government Tax (VAT).

A Three Course Dinner with Wine , including coffee and truffles, is reserved for you in the Dining Room at 7.30pm at £50.00 per person

Entire castle bookings may provide their own wine/spirits/mixers/champagne (no corkage charge)

Group bookings of the entire castle require a 50% deposit to confirm.

Check-in time… 3.00-6.00 pm
Check-out time… 11.00 am

There are a few ideas I’d like to suggest:-

Piper and Dancers Show in the Great Hall for your group prior to dinner in the Dining Room GBP £75.00
Our traditional ceilidh band, a fiddler and accordion, could play one evening. The cost is GBP £500.
Disco: £350.00 A harpist or pianist/keyboard player as background music is GBP £70-£150.
A Jacobite Storyteller or the ‘ Address to the Haggis ’ with a short dissertation on Jacobite History is always good fun - this is GBP £100.00
Kilt hire for the gentlemen is also a good idea (for the entertainment of the ladies!) and this is £55.00 per person.

A 4 course dinner, served in the Dining Room at 7.30pm,  is included in your stay, followed by coffee and truffles in the Drawing Room.
Afternoon Tea is available in the Drawing Room from 3.00pm.
Breakfast is served in the Dining Room at a pre- arranged time to suit the group.
We do not serve lunches in the Castle, however, packed lunches are available by advance request.

Things to do

• We are located nearby to championship golf courses – Royal Dornoch and Nairn Golf Club (approx. £90 per round), need to book in advance. There are many other local golf courses, less expensive (Cawdor, Rosemarkie, Inverness, Strathpeffer).
• Dolphin Boat trips can be arranged – a wee bit chilly (even for the dolphins!).
• Bicycle hire down by the shores of Loch Ness, or in the forests of Aviemore - £15 per person.
• Skiing/Skating / Hill Climbing in the Cairngorms, Aviemore - not quite Switzerland but an experience!
• Horse back riding at Logie Farm (20 mins away) - £14 per person.

We can try to arrange a distillery trip (either Glenmorangie or Muir of Ord), and Rothiemurchus Estate is very good for clay pigeon shooting (approx GBP £30.00 p.p.), off road driving, quad biking, guided walks, etc. Tel (01479) 810 858

There are many scenic drives in the area, and we are only 10 minutes from Inverness and Loch Ness, Culloden Battlefield, Fort George, Cawdor Castle and Brodie Castle.

Car Hire

We do recommend renting a car, or we could arrange our own guide/driver and a small 16 seater minibus at a cost of GBP £450.00 per day.

Wines and Spirits

ODDBINS offers a comprehensive service- sale or return/free delivery and pick-up to and from the Castle

Place an order with your local Oddbins and it will be transferred to the Inverness Branch Tel. (01463) 237 155. Alternatively, we are 5 minutes from a Tesco Superstore and this could be a job for the advance party to “stock up”.

The Castle provides the glasses and staff to restock/replace glasses- please bring all of your own wines, spirits, mixers, beer, juice, champagne, ice, lemons and nibbles/munchies. We have a large fridge at your disposal for chilling.

Castle Staff

We have a limited number of staff, as we are a home not a hotel. A bar is set up with your drinks in the Drawing Room on a self-serve basis.

Cake

We are able to order Birthday cakes at approx GBP £40.00 , and you can email us with a photo to be placed on a cake.
